It doesn’t matter where you work or what you do, if you’re a homemaker or a busy business person, everyone is looking for ways to be more productive in their lives.
I highly doubt that buckets of coffee and constant list-making will get you any closer to reaching your peak productivity level.
It’s always a great feeling to know that you’ve done everything you need to for today. It actually makes you want to get more things done and be ahead of the game!

Here are my top tips that I use everyday to be as productive as ever!
Stop multi-tasking.
Just stop trying to do everything at once! Take it one step at a time and focus on one thing at a time. You will actually get things done more effectively and efficiently by concentrating on one task. Less is more when it comes to being productive. Stick to the basics and keep it simple!
Focus on your TODAY to-do list.
I love writing To-Do lists, but sometimes I get carried away writing down everything I need to do in life, haha! Do you do that too? 😛 Focus on the 24 hours you have in front of you and do the things that are priority today!
Take more breaks.
You don’t want to overwork yourself. At that point, you’ll become lazy and that will be so counterproductive. What helps me is the 90/10 rule. 90 minutes of non-stop beast mode working, then a quick 10 minute break.
I do that throughout the day and it helps me be so much more productive. Give yourself a moment to refresh by grabbing a snack, going for walk, meditating and even taking a power nap! You’ll come back recharged and ready to tackle the next task!
Use the morning to focus on yourself.
Believe it or not, this is the most important tip I could give you, but it’s also one of the hardest to master. I’ve noticed that when I use my mornings for myself, it helps me stay grounded and accomplish my tasks for the day.
Don’t start answering emails and checking your phone as soon as you wake up. Instead, start your morning routine with eating a healthy breakfast, working out, meditating or whatever it is you do in the mornings. Once you take care of yourself, you’ll be able to take care of the day.
Tackle your hardest tasks first.
Knock out your most challenging work as your first task when your brain is fresh and alert. If you have busy but easy work, save that for the afternoon. By scheduling your day this way, you’ll be able to create a new and more productive way to manage your time.
Create a system.
You should plan out your day and create a system for yourself. Dedicate a certain amount of time to things that need to be done daily. For example, set aside one hour to check emails, everyday at the same time, or to clean up the house, or whatever it may be that you have to do daily.
Stop being lazy!
Nobody likes admitting it, but sheer laziness is the number one reason to lost productivity. Stop being lazy and get things done! Place your focus on doing the things that matter most and motivate yourself to get it all done!
