How I Made $1,843.10 In July 2018 Blogging

Welcome to July 2018’s business income report where I show you how I made money online last month. July was an exciting month for all areas of my blogging business! Let’s take a look at this month’s update and see how I did.

I decided to start publishing income reports mainly for a few reasons:

Before I started blogging, I knew nothing about making money online. I didn’t even know what a blog was, let alone how to make money from one. I also didn’t think side hustles were worth the effort. I always thought that the only way you could make more money is through raises at your full-time job or going back to school to eventually get a better high-paying job. If it weren’t for others publishing their monthly income reports, I would of never known that making money online with a blog was possible.
I want to publish my income reports because it’s a way for me to look back and see how I’m doing. I think it’s a great way to learn from my mistakes and see what areas need improvement. I want to use my income reports like a journal so that I can really track my progress.
Lastly, I want to show others that making money online is possible and there are many ways to make money from home. I want to inspire others to be in control of their finances and create their dream life. I believe that with the right mindset, hard work, discipline, and a little bit of faith, anything is possible. 😉

For me, generating income from a blog is the most stable and funniest way to make money online. It allows you to be your own boss and run your business the way you want to. I like to show others that you don’t have to hate your job or hate your life. You can make changes in your life and make the money you always wanted in a way that allows you to truly enjoy life to the fullest. When you have your own blogging business, you can spend a lot more time doing the things you love like spending time with family, hiking, camping, traveling, etc.

How was business income for July of 2018?

I earned $1,843.10 in July 2018 from my blogging business.

July was another great month for Fire and A Beer and the whole blogging business. A lot of changes were made to my promotion technique and to some other areas of the blog. Traffic has skyrocketed after implementing certain changes to the business.

I am currently working very hard on the blog and doing my best to get a number of things done. Blogging is a lot of work but it is extremely rewarding and very addicting!

This month was amazing! My traffic spiked, I made more than double my income last month and I discovered more ways to diversify my income.

My biggest goal for this year is to be making 6 figures from my blogging business by the end of 2018. As long as I focus on the things that need to be done to make that happen, then it shouldn’t be a problem at all. Recently, I got laid off and this couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I guess it’s a blessing in disguise because now I can spend all my time building my blogging business. I feel like this is the universe’s way of helping me make things happen…as long as I keep looking at the glass half full!

Anyway, getting back to my monthly income report…

It has only been 5 months of blogging and I’ve already hit the $1,000 dollar mark! That’s not enough to retire just yet, but definitely a great start!

I do want everyone to remember that I started at $0 a month and have worked really hard to grow my income. It takes a lot of hard work and then some to make money online. But once you make your first dollar online, it’s an amazing feeling!

In July 2018, I earned $1,843.10 from my blogging business. Below is how my income breaks apart into the different business income categories:

Affiliate Income – $1,273.30 total:
- Bluehost (check out my tutorial on how to start a blog) – $520.00
- Survey Companies – $413.30
- Enagic – $340.00
- Miscellaneous Affiliates – $569.80 (affiliate promotions that I’ve been asked to not publicly share because of company privacy reasons).

Total: $1,843.10

The income amount above is for the month of July and is before fees or expenses. I had some fees and expenses this month which include newsletter expenses. After expenses, I earned approximately $1,806.10.

How I Made $624.40 My 4th Month of Blogging!

My business is growing and I’m very excited about that! I have been nurturing my blog and working very hard on all aspects of it. I have tons of amazing ideas for this year that will help my business grow even bigger! I want to help as many people as I can with my blog and help them live their dream lives.

As I mentioned above, I have big goals for my blog before 2018 is over. Setting goals can help a person and a business reach their potential. It can also keep you motivated and ahead of the game.

Here are my goals for 2018:

Building my subscriber base to 100,000. Having an email list is very important. People always say that money is in the list, and they’re right! I use Convertkit, and it’s the best thing ever. They make it super easy to start sending emails to your list and a whole lot more.
Reach 500,000 page views per month. This will happen when I continue to implement my promoting skills. It’s a process that will happen slowly, but surely.
Create a course for my readers. I want to help other individuals who want to make blogging their business. I want to show others a step-by-step way that they can use to create income from their blogs as well!
Make more blogging friends! The blogging community is amazing! There are so many great people in the blogging world from all walks of life. I would like to make more lifelong blogging friends that I can grow with.

Those are my biggest goals for my blog in 2018 and I believe I will be able to achieve all of them if I work hard and stay focused.

Before you think that $100 or even $1,000 is impossible, you should remember that it is not!

I, myself, used to think that it would be great to one day earn just $100 online and through my blog. I looked up many bloggers who were earning over $10,000 a month, and I thought it was impossible.

Now, I’m here to show everyone that it is possible! Through hard work and commitment, you never know where life will take you!

My business is growing, my income is increasing, I have tons of amazing ideas for this year, and I am very excited about everything. I am really beginning to fall in love with my business, which is just making me want to build it even more!
