THEY WAKE UP EARLY
Rise and shine! Waking up early is on every self-made millionaire’s habit list. Yes, it does suck at first but stick with it and you will see how it literally transforms your life.
Waking up early in the morning allows you to be ahead of the day and get things done. When the world is sleeping, you are up and working on your goals. It allows you to maximize your day, accomplish tasks and be productive.
I wake up at 5 AM every day and start working on my hardest and most brain-racking tasks first. Waking up early helps me stay focused on what I need to get done right away because there are no distractions or disturbances.
I often hear people say, “There’s just never enough time in the day”. I believe that to be completely wrong. We need to learn how to manage our time better. Waking up early helps you control your life and gives you more confidence in the end.
HUSTLE!
As I mentioned earlier, it might suck for a bit but you will learn to love it, just like I did! Honestly, just stick with it for two weeks. That will be enough time for your body to get used to waking up early and it will be a lot easier.
I always remind myself that we only have so much time. Time is the only thing we CAN’T make more of. This encourages me to become self-motivated and eager to get things done.
THEY ARE POSITIVE PEOPLE
Have you ever noticed that self-made millionaires are people just like you? It all starts with their mindset.
I truly believe that to have long-term success in life, you need to have a positive mental outlook. Learn to be a “The glass is half full”, kind of person.
The problem is that most people don’t even realize they’re being negative. Most people don’t even know how to tell the difference between their positive and negative thoughts.
If you pay attention to your thoughts, you’ll find that most of them are negative. This is a really big problem because your thoughts actually control your life. People don’t realize it but it’s true what Buddha says…
Learn to re-train your mind to be more positive.
THEY HELP OTHERS SUCCEED
I truly believe that the fastest way to achieve success is to help others. There seems to be this belief in the business world that you should always and only look out for yourself. That is definitely not true.

THEY SPEND 30 – 45 MINUTES THINKING
This is one habit that I think is really important and truly valuable. Dedicating time to daydreaming and just thinking of nothing is a very effective way to clear your mind.
You actually become more productive. If you dedicate just 30 minutes a day to sitting in silence and thinking, it can really bring you closer to your goal.
Here’s how: – Sometimes we get overwhelmed with the goals we want to achieve. We start to overthink and begin to work against ourselves by slacking or procrastinating.
STOP. BREATHE. REFOCUS.
Let yourself think and your mind relax. It will help you become more clear in your mind. Letting yourself daydream about the things you want and what you’re working for will actually favor you.
When I start to feel overwhelmed and mentally tired or when I start to procrastinate, I start to meditate on what it would feel like to actually have all the things I want.
I daydream and picture myself driving what I want to drive, having the money I want to have, hanging with the friends I want, going to the places I want to go, looking at how I want to look, wearing the clothes I want to wear, and so on.
Focusing on every little detail in my mind puts me into a state where I am content, blissful, and truly happy.
This mediation works wonders. By doing this, you are subconsciously programming your mind to feel good, be more positive, and be more mentally clear.
THEY EXERCISE AND EAT RIGHT
Ok, I really think this is a no-brainer, but some of us (including myself because I forget sometimes as well), need to be reminded how important it is to eat right and exercise.
You NEED to exercise and eat right. There are so many benefits of doing this such as:
- You’ll live longer
- You’ll feel and look amazing
- You’ll be more confident
- Your body and brain will function better
- Your mood will be happier
- You’ll be more productive
Now I’m not saying that you need to be lifting weights like crazy or go on an insane detox diet just to get skinny. No no…I’m saying you need to get healthy. And whatever your health is for you, that’s all you gotta do.
If exercising means walking around the block, then BOOM,… you exercised today. Now do it every day and push yourself to be better.
THEY SET GOALS
Every successful person knows that setting goals are super important. Setting goals will help you stay focused and motivated. You should set daily, weekly, and monthly goals. It’s a great way to track your progress and measure your success.
Currently, I am focusing on setting daily goals. Every day I write down what my goals are for the day. I set health goals, beauty goals, business goals, and personal goals.
One thing that I’ve learned is that doing everything all at once doesn’t really work the best. It makes you spread yourself too thin. I like to accomplish my goals one at a time, but I do it efficiently. Spend time and energy to work on getting your goals done efficiently.
Trust me, you’ll never go wrong investing in yourself. Dream big but start small. Set goals and take baby steps. How do you eat an elephant?.…one bite at a time.
Then get better, faster, and stronger.
THEY GET GOOD SLEEP
Every person requires good sleep in order to function properly. However, everyone’s sleeping schedule may not be the same. Some people only need 6 hours of sleep while others may need 9 hours of sleep.
Monitor your sleeping habits and figure out how much sleep you actually need. It’s amazing what you will discover.
For the longest time, I thought I needed 8 hours of sleep. Turns out, I was oversleeping every day, which resulted in me being really tired and groggy in the mornings.
The quality of sleep is always better than the quantity of sleep. Sometimes less is more.
THEY READ ALL THE TIME
Knowledge is power. How do we gain knowledge? By reading, listening, and observing. 88% of millionaires read every day. They devote 30 minutes or more to reading for self-improvement and personal development.
Reading is a great way to relax the mind and learn something new about yourself. Reading for self-improvement helps you become a better you.
THEY NEVER GIVE UP – ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING
Ok now listen, sometimes when you’re learning something new, you won’t master it the first time. Whether it’s trying to make money through a blog, learning how to swim, or simply trying to wake up early.
You will go through growing pains. Do not be discouraged. Develop a positive attitude that trumps all negativity and doubt within you.
You must NEVER GIVE UP.
Before you start something, start it with the right attitude. Always have a CAN DO attitude. The number one thing that all millionaires have in common is a great attitude and the ability to never give up.
If something doesn’t work while you are trying to blog, great! Now you know. Now try something else. Keep tweaking your strategies till you reach your goal.
Be consistent and always keep a positive attitude while working towards what you want.
THEY HANG OUT WITH SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE

The people you hang out with make all the difference. You start to unconsciously pick up habits from the people you surround yourself with.
It’s always a good idea to keep a tight circle of people that are like-minded and ahead of you. It will motivate you to become better.
It’s equally important to avoid negative people and influences. Being around negative people sets you back from achieving success.
